VIP Muslim Essentials ("the App") is operated by Dawwas ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Location data: The App requests access to your device's location (while in use only) to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Your location is processed on-device and is never stored on our servers.
• Device identifier: A random anonymous device ID is generated locally and stored on your device to track your ibadah streak and score on the global leaderboard. This ID is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Display name: If you choose to set a display name for the leaderboard, that name is stored on our secure servers alongside your anonymous device ID.
• Ibadah check-in data: Your daily check-in responses (e.g., whether you prayed, read Qur'an) are stored on our servers to calculate your streak and leaderboard rank.

2. Subscription & Payments

The App offers a $2.99/month subscription managed through Apple's App Store. Payment is processed entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription management is handled via RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle subscription data.

3. Push Notifications

If you grant permission, the App may send you local notifications for prayer times (Adhan alerts). These are scheduled on-device and do not require us to collect your push token or any personal data.

4. Third-Party Services

• AlQuran Cloud API (api.alquran.cloud): Used to fetch Qur'an text and audio recitations. No personal data is sent to this service.
• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app subscriptions. See their privacy policy.

5. Data Retention

Your anonymous check-in data and display name are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
